The Benefits of Intergenerational Travel

Dear Grandtravelers,

When grandparents and grandchildren travel together they get to reach the unexplored location of  understanding; knowing lots more  about one another. (How lucky can you get?)

Believe it or not, when both generations learn more  about each other they learn  how very much they are alike  and they begin to appreciate the unique landscapes of each other’s lives.  This happens when they are together on a GRANDTRAVEL trip and have time to get-to-know each other.  One Grandmother told us how she and her granddaughter practiced tap dancing each morning of the tour…. they uncovered the fact that they both loved music and dance.

Both generations are making major changes in their lives.  Grandchildren will go off to college, Grandparents will go off to retirement communities.  The anxieties that these huge life adjustments create are felt in equal degree by both generations.  It only helps and can’t hurt to talk  about these feelings  with one another.  Another one of those times when you will need each other ever more. GRANDTRAVEL’S  teacher escorted fun-filled vacations relax everyone and make communicating easy.

A “place” to better understand those you love is the destination you choose to travel together!
